About the event

Licensed sports psychologist and two-time Division 1 NCAA national champion, Dr. Katie Peterson, is bringing evidence-based approaches to this virtual workshop, equipping girls' hockey players with the tools to increase confidence, strengthen mental toughness, and achieve top performance.

Hockey is a game of speed, agility, power, and skill. It’s also shaped by pressure, urgency, intimidation, and moments of isolation. The players who rise to the top aren’t just physically strong; they’re mentally resilient, taking the ice with confidence, grit, and total focus.

In this workshop, athletes will learn:

  • Strategies to overcome negative thoughts and heightened emotions in sport

  • How to improve your confidence and composure in all settings

  • Tools to play with poise and aggression
